Aerospace Engineer IV

Requirements and Responsibilities
Designs and supervises the construction of aircraft and associated parts such as airframe, auxiliaries, communication equipment, controls, fuselage, and powerplant. Analyzes results of stress tests on various craft and missile parts and conducts research to determine flight characteristics. May have responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments. May have concentration in a single aerospace discipline such as: flight mechanics, guidance and control systems, propulsion systems, robotics, or aerodynamics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. Typically requires 7+ years of related experience.
