Requirements and Responsibilities

Adjustment Clerk III reviews and follows up on customer complaints regarding account balances and uncredited items. Analyzes associated documents and makes necessary adjustments to accounts and/or recommendations to resolve customer issues. Being an Adjustment Clerk III communicates results of findings to customer. May supervise and guide lower-level adjustment clerks. Additionally, Adjustment Clerk III requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Adjustment Clerk III works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. To be an Adjustment Clerk III typically requires 3-5 years of related experience.
