Requirements and Responsibilities For Accounts Receivable Clerk
Records and verifies payments received by the company accurately and promptly. Posts, updates, and reconciles accounts using applicable systems. Prepares routine reports of delinquent or problem accounts. May provide verification of payment to customers and others as needed. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
