Requirements and Responsibilities
Advises university/college students in course and major selection, requirements for selected area of concentration, and post-college plans. Assists students in setting academic goals, course planning and career development. May work with individual students or groups. Requires a bachelor's degree in counseling or related field or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
