Requirements and Responsibilities For Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor
Provides vocational rehabilitation services to disabled individuals in order to facilitate their employment and/or reemployment. Evaluates patients' interests, qualifications, and limitations to develop appropriate employment objectives for them. Requires a bachelor's/master's degree and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
