Requirements and Responsibilities For Trader (OTC) II
Responsible for timely buying and selling in the over-the-counter market. Reviews stock orders to ensure accuracy, proper record keeping, and conformance to regulations. Evaluates market volatility, carries out trades, and maintains accounts to ensure customer satisfaction. Develops relationships with dealers to obtain optimal trade execution. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area, and may require state licensure. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
