Trader (Institutional Municipal Bonds)

Requirements and Responsibilities
Responsible for the timely buying and selling of institutional municipal bonds. Reviews orders to ensure accuracy, proper record keeping, and conformance to regulations. Evaluates market volatility and ensures clients receive the best rate available. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area and may require state licensure. Typically reports to a manager or a head of a unit/department. Typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
