Requirements and Responsibilities
Responsible for directing the marketing function of the division. Plans and directs all aspects of a division's marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives. Researches and identifies changes in the marketing environment or competitive strategies and evaluates, adjusts, or redrafts the organization's marketing plan and philosophy accordingly. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. Typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.
