Requirements and Responsibilities
Researches a variety of news stories through interviews, observation, and library and/or online resources. Determines tone and intended audience of story. Develops, investigates, and writes a variety of news stories. Validates news story leads. May require a bachelor's degree . Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
