Requirements and Responsibilities

Production Revenue Accountant II completes the processes and tasks required for oil and gas revenue accounting using established practices and methods. Books revenue, performs reconciliations, prepares analysis, and calculates and distributes royalty checks. Being a Production Revenue Accountant II submits and prepares reports and filings that comply with applicable regulations and practices. Familiar with specialized oil and gas software used to optimize accounting operations. Additionally, Production Revenue Accountant II has experience and knowledge of accounting practices that are specific to the oil and gas industry. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Revenue Accountant II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be a Production Revenue Accountant II typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience.
