Requirements and Responsibilities

Planner/Scheduler V - Construction collects and analyzes information used to plan and schedule construction projects. Generates forecasts, variance reports, and other documentation used to monitor and manage projects. Being a Planner/Scheduler V - Construction researches and reports on economic, legal, and other factors that may impact project success. Develops and implements standards to utilize on all project planning and scheduling. Additionally, Planner/Scheduler V - Construction has budget planning responsibility for the project. Expert with standard planning and scheduling methodologies and tools. Prepares plans and schedules for very large and highly complex projects or multiple projects. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Planner/Scheduler V - Construction works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in solution or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. To be a Planner/Scheduler V - Construction typically requires 10+ years of related experience.
