Requirements and Responsibilities

Planner/Scheduler IV - Construction collects and analyzes information used to plan and schedule construction projects. Generates forecasts, variance reports, and other documentation used to monitor and manage projects. Being a Planner/Scheduler IV - Construction researches and reports on economic, legal, and other factors that may impact project success. Develops standards to utilize on all project planning and scheduling. Additionally, Planner/Scheduler IV - Construction may have budget planning responsibility for the project. Expert with standard planning and scheduling methodologies and tools. Prepares plans and schedules for large and complex projects or multiple projects. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Planner/Scheduler IV - Construction is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent.
