Merchant Card Sales Manager

Requirements and Responsibilities
Manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region. Designs and recommends sales programs for the merchant card department and sets short and long-term sales strategies. Evaluates and implements appropriate new card sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume. May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to top management. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.
