Coordinates attendee registration and post-event evaluations. Being a Meeting/Event Assistant assists with vendor research and maintains vendor contracts. Liaisons with vendors to coordinate day-to-day activities during events. Additionally, Meeting/Event Assistant compiles summaries of costs, attendee demographics, and post-event evaluations. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Meeting/Event Assistant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
