Maintenance Supervisor

Requirements and Responsibilities
Supervises and coordinates the work of employees who repair and maintain buildings/facilities. Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work products. Administers training programs to ensure proper operations, preventive maintenance, and repair programs and procedures. May establish new preventive maintenance programs and procedure guidelines. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. May require certain certifications in the field. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
