Requirements and Responsibilities

Loan Examiner III reviews or audits a loan portfolio of complex loans to ensure compliance with established laws and regulations. Analyzes loans to identify deficiencies, unsupported charges, and risk levels. Being a Loan Examiner III establishes authenticity and correctness of all records including transactions and other forms of documentation. Leads examinations of special or highly complex loans or credit relationships. Additionally, Loan Examiner III may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Loan Examiner III contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. To be a Loan Examiner III typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience.
