Requirements and Responsibilities

Loan Examiner I reviews or audits a loan portfolio of low complexity loans to ensure compliance with established laws and regulations. Analyzes loans to identify deficiencies, unsupported charges, and risk levels. Being a Loan Examiner I establishes authenticity and correctness of all records including transactions and other forms of documentation. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Loan Examiner I typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Loan Examiner I works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a Loan Examiner I typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
