Requirements and Responsibilities

Hardware Engineer III provides analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware for products. Develops test strategies, devices, and systems. Being a Hardware Engineer III performs stress and performance tests on a variety of computer hardware including circuit boards, processors and wiring. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Hardware Engineer III typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Hardware Engineer III typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
