Requirements and Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring that hotel rooms and facilities are kept in a clean and orderly condition in line with hotel policies and guest satisfaction. Responsible for overseeing and training housekeeping staff. Manages housekeeping supplies and equipment. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience, or may have 2 years experience plus an associates degree, or additional training or certification.
