Requirements and Responsibilities

Director - Stage, Motion Pictures, Television interprets plays and scripts for production. Auditions and identifies performers for roles in specific productions and conducts rehearsals. Being a Director - Stage, Motion Pictures, Television may require an associate's degree or its equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Director - Stage, Motion Pictures, Television relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
