Requirements and Responsibilities
Responsible for operating one or more types of computer numeric controlled production equipment. Selects appropriate settings and makes adjustments as necessary. Follows established quality and safety standards. Typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience. May be entry level if some experience in the skill Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Works under moderate supervision.
