Collateral Appraiser I

Requirements and Responsibilities
Conducts simple to moderately complex appraisals and property ratings to establish market values that guide investments in real estate equity and loans. Prepares detailed reports including descriptions of properties, relevant market conditions, and estimates of property values. Ensures that reports comply with bank policy and applicable regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.
