Requirements and Responsibilities

Chiropractor conducts chiropractic treatments and cares for patients with health problems of the neuromusculoskeletal system. Evaluates patients' condition based on their symptoms and medical history. Being a Chiropractor examines spine and posture, conducts tests or takes X rays. Provides neuromusculoskeletal therapy. Additionally, Chiropractor requires a doctorate degree in chiropractic (DC). Must pass either National Board tests or state examinations to obtain a license. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Chiropractor's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.
